LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Jefferson County Public Schools will merge two elementary schools next school year. Whitney Young Elementary School will move two miles away and merge into Engelhard Elementary School. The school board approved the plan Tuesday night.   The move opens up the current building Whitney Young students are in, so sixth grade students at Hudson Middle School can go there.
