GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A series of search warrants executed in Fairlea on June 11 and 12, 2025, led to the arrest of five individuals and the seizure of illegal drugs, cash, and drug-related paraphernalia, according to a press release from the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation began on June 11 when members of the Greenbrier County Adult Probation Office conducted a compliance check at the residence of Todd Brown, located at an apartment on U.S. 219.
During the check, officers discovered several items of drug paraphernalia and suspected illegal drugs.
The probation officers contacted Sheriff Bart Baker and the Greenbrier County Prosecutor’s Office to report their findings.
Greenbrier County Deputies used the information to obtain a search warrant for the residence.
The warrant was executed with assistance from the Greenbrier County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
The search produced $2,500 in cash, heroin, fentanyl, marijuana, and prescription medication.
As a result, three individuals—Todd Brown, Amanda Campbell, and Sierah Wright—were arrested and charged with felony possession with intent to deliver illegal drugs.
All three were transported to the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office for processing and later taken to the Southern Regional Jail. Deputy H. Rodriguez is the lead investigator in the case.
On June 12, information gathered from the first search led deputies to obtain a second warrant for another residence in the same area of Fairlea.
Deputies executed the warrant at the home of Trevor Mayhew and Taylor Sutton.
The search uncovered approximately $1,000 in cash, fentanyl, marijuana, and drug dealing paraphernalia.
Mayhew and Sutton were taken into custody, processed at the Sheriff’s Office, and transported to the Southern Regional Jail.
Both were charged with possession with intent to deliver fentanyl. Lt. S. Hudnall is leading that investigation.
Sheriff Bart Baker issued a strong statement following the arrests.
“Let me be absolutely clear: the men and women of the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office—and all law enforcement officers throughout Greenbrier County—are growing increasingly vigilant against those who traffic in this poison and those that use it preying upon our law-abiding citizens. I currently lead 29 well-trained and highly motivated deputies who are working tirelessly to put an end to this lawlessness,” Barker said.
“I have directed them to seek you out and arrest you. If you are released and continue your criminal behavior, we will arrest you again—and again—until you either stop, are incarcerated, or leave this county for good.”
