BRUSHFORK, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Brushfork man is facing multiple charges after a domestic incident involving a juvenile and another adult on Friday, June 6, 2025.
At approximately 5:33 p.m., West Virginia State Police responded to a call from Mercer County 911 regarding a domestic dispute. The call was made after a juvenile girl reportedly fled the home and ran across the street to ask a neighbor for help.
Upon arrival, troopers spoke with Chandler Wishnevsky, who stated that he and his mother had argued, prompting her to leave with his younger sister. While troopers were still on scene, dispatchers received another call from a woman who said she was involved in the incident and had left the home for her safety. She agreed to meet with law enforcement in Bluefield.
Troopers then met with a female victim, who said the altercation began after Wishnevsky became upset upon discovering his younger sister had Snapchat. She said she confiscated the tablet, and Wishnevsky began hitting the juvenile with a belt. When she attempted to intervene, he allegedly pushed her to the ground.
She provided troopers with videos from her phone that appeared to show the juvenile curled up on a couch while Wishnevsky yelled and lunged at her with a closed fist. Another video reportedly showed Wishnevsky aggressively approaching her.
She told officers she wanted Wishnevsky out of her home and agreed to press charges. Troopers returned to the Purdue Hollow residence and placed Wishnevsky under arrest. He was charged with domestic assault and two counts of domestic battery.
