
BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Beckley’s popular Japanese restaurant, Fujiyama, announced a temporary closure amid ongoing staffing difficulties. Owner Jenny Weng shared the news in a heartfelt message to customers.
“It is with a heavy heart that we share a difficult and emotional decision — Fujiyama will be temporarily closing, due to ongoing staffing challenges,” Weng wrote.
She emphasized that the decision was not made lightly and expressed gratitude for the community’s support.
“We are deeply grateful for the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. Our team is like family, and we hope this pause gives us the time to regroup, rebuild, and return even stronger.”
Weng asked for patience and understanding during the closure, assuring customers that the restaurant looks forward to reopening at full capacity soon.
“Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support during this time. We look forward to serving you again soon with full capacity,” she said.
