
HARTFORD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A routine traffic stop in the Town of Hartford in Mason County on Friday night led to the arrest of a man wanted on a felony charge, according to the Mason Metro Police Department.
At approximately 10:00 p.m. on May 30, 2025, Sergeant Doss and Patrolman Hannah conducted the stop and identified one of the passengers as Tyler James Hesson.
Upon checking his information, officers discovered that Hesson had an active felony warrant issued by the Nicholas County Magistrate Court for Concealment of a Deceased Human Body.
Hesson was taken into custody without incident and transported to Western Regional Jail, where he is being held pending further legal proceedings.
“All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law,” the department noted.
