LESAGE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Beginning July 1, state agencies in West Virginia will be able to order drinking water directly from LeSage Natural, a local bottler that employs 40 individuals with disabilities at its Cabell County facility.
The company, a division of the 58-year-old nonprofit Green Acres Regional Center, Inc., produces award-winning water sourced from a 100-foot-deep sealed well.
The change comes following recent legislative updates allowing direct vendor relationships between LeSage Natural and the State of West Virginia.
With delivery schedules and ordering procedures already in place, the partnership is expected to contribute to both economic development and inclusive employment.
Earlene Anglin, Executive Director of Green Acres, explained, “our mission is to offer inclusive, person-centered programs and supportive services that empower individuals with developmental disabilities to learn, grow, and lead fulfilling, independent lives with purpose and pride.”
Currently serving 22 of the state’s 55 counties, LeSage Natural also works with over 2,500 private-sector clients across the tri-state area.
The company provides a full range of water-related accessories, including dispensers, refrigerators, and cups.
“Our water is pumped from the ground, purified, bottled, labeled, and packaged for delivery right here on site. It is undeniably some of the purest and best tasting water in the world and we have consistent results and multiple awards to back that claim,” says Anglin.
LeSage Natural sees its new relationship with state agencies as an opportunity not only to expand business, but also to advance its longstanding mission of empowering individuals with disabilities through meaningful employment.
