GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office is once again turning to the public for help in locating Jason Roberts, a fugitive who skipped a scheduled court appearance after being released on bail earlier this month.
Roberts was arrested on May 10, 2025, by deputies with the help of community tips. At the time of his arrest, he was armed and facing multiple outstanding felony warrants.
Despite the serious nature of the charges, Roberts was released after a local bond company posted his bail. He has since failed to appear in court and is now considered a fugitive from justice.
Sheriff Bart Baker is urging residents not to approach Roberts if spotted. Instead, authorities ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 911 or contact the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
“All information is appreciated as we work to bring Mr. Roberts back into custody,” Sheriff Baker said in a statement.
