It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we share the passing of Amanda Jean Slipp of Central Blissville, New Brunswick, who left us on May 24, 2025, at the age of 43 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Her sudden departure has left a profound void in the lives of her family, friends, and the entire community who were fortunate to know her vibrant spirit.
Amanda was a woman of immense warmth, strength, and creativity. Her life was filled with passion for hands-on work, whether it was her love for carpentry or the freedom she found biking through the beauty of nature. These hobbies were not just pastimes for Amanda—they were expressions of her bold and adventurous nature. She had a remarkable talent for creating and fixing things, and she brought joy and inspiration to those around her by sharing these passions.
Amanda will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Jason, and her beloved daughter, Brandy. Their bond was one of laughter, support, and shared memories. Amanda took great pride in spending quality time with her family, and some of her happiest moments were the simple ones—gathered around a computer, playing games and laughing together, or embarking on weekend adventures that brought them closer.
She was not only a cherished wife and mother, but also a treasured friend, daughter, and community member. Her presence had a comforting effect on others. Whether it was through heartfelt conversations, her helpful nature, or her infectious laugh, Amanda had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved.
As her family prepares to say goodbye, they invite all who knew and loved Amanda to attend the visitation services to be held at Sunbury Funeral Home on May 28, 2025. This will be an opportunity for the community to come together, reflect on Amanda’s beautiful life, and share in the collective grief and love that surrounds her memory.
Though Amanda Jean Slipp may no longer be with us in the physical world, her light endures in the hearts of all she touched. Her legacy of love, resilience, and adventure will continue to inspire those who carry her memory forward. May she rest in peace, and may her family be comforted by the strength of the community and the outpouring of affection for the extraordinary woman she was.
