
BARBOURSVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A shoplifting attempt at the Buckle department store in the Huntington Mall ended with damaged merchandise and criminal charges.
According to reports, the suspect entered a fitting room at Buckle, located at 1000 Mall Road, Unit 190, in Barboursville, Cabell County, and used a small pair of yellow-handled cutters to remove an anti-theft device from a shirt. In doing so, the shirt was damaged beyond repair, rendering it unsellable.
The retail value of the shirt was $39.95. Authorities say the suspect will face charges in connection with the incident.
