After all the storms we had yesterday, today has shaped up to be quite nice! The cold front dropped our temperatures and decreased the amount of moisture we have in the air. Louisville will stay a touch warmer than outlying regions this evening, so keep that in mind if you have any outdoor plans today. For those heading to the Louisville Bats game tonight, you can probably get away without a light jacket, but consider bringing one if you are typically cold-natured.
Tomorrow will start off on the cool side with 40s area-wide. In fact, some spots might briefly drop to 39 degrees before sunrise. But temperatures will quickly rebound once the sun comes up with mainly cirrus clouds across the sky on Saturday.
A “cool” front swings through late Saturday night, and high pressure will move in for Sunday afternoon. This will keep us quite pleasant with highs reaching towards the 80 degree mark despite some clouds building in during the second half of the day.
We’ll have showers and storms early next week before things really heat up. We’re talking temperatures well into the 80s after Wednesday.
