BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – While the 2025 Friends of Charity Auto Fair was canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, the mission rolls on with a powerful new event: “Friends of Charity: Revved Up Regardless – A Full-Throttle Fundraiser, Shifting Gears for a Cause.”
This year, the main fundraising event for Hospice of Southern West Virginia and Brian’s Safehouse will be a high-energy concert featuring CAPTURED Louisville, a premier Journey tribute band, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Woodrow Wilson High School Auditorium.
Tickets are available now for a minimum donation of $15. Premium center-section seats in the first three rows are available for $50, $40, and $30, while all other seating is general admission. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Hospice of Southern West Virginia and Brian’s Safehouse. At checkout, guests will also have the opportunity to give more if they’re able—every donation makes a difference.
“We may be shifting gears this year, but our mission remains in overdrive,” said Janett Green, CEO of Hospice of Southern West Virginia. “Even without the Auto Fair, we’re ‘Revved Up Regardless’ to bring people together in support of hospice care and recovery. This concert will be a celebration of life, hope, and the generosity of a community that always shows up.”
CAPTURED Louisville delivers the iconic sound of Journey with uncanny precision. Led by Rob Maupin and Matt Coddington, and featuring seasoned musicians who’ve performed with Cheap Trick and Foreigner, the band is known for unforgettable, crowd-pleasing performances that bring fans to their feet.
Join us on July 12 for a night of legendary music and life-changing impact.
